4. What happens if I have paid for hours but decide to stop taking classes?

Lesson packages are non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend or family member. Lesson packages must be used within one year of purchase or the remaining balance is lost. Please contact administration if you have an emergency or want to transfer a balance to someone else.

5. If I have paid for hours but decide to stop taking classes, can I transfer my credit to someone else?

Yes, we will transfer any remaining credit to a friend or family member at no extra charge.

6. Will you reward me if I refer people to your institute?

Yes, with our 'refer a friend' scheme, you will receive one free hour of class for every person you refer who buys a package of 10 or more hours.

1. Can you teach more than one person?

Yes, we also offer classes to groups of 2 people if both students are at the same level. We do not recommend groups larger than this taking classes online.

2. Do I have to follow a specific course?

Your teacher will use a variety of materials and text books in order to create the ideal course for your needs. If you have any preferences regarding material, just let your teacher know. Whether you're preparing for interviews or work in an English-speaking organization, studying for an English exam or just have a curiosity to learn the language, our tailor-made curriculum will provide exactly what you need to achieve your goals.

3. Will I need to buy a book?

No, all materials for your class will be provided by the teacher and sent to you via Skype or e-mail.

4. Can I just take conversation classes, or are all the classes grammar-based?

You can ask for exactly the class you want. If you only want conversation, that is what your teacher will do. All courses are fully tailor-made.

5. Can you help me prepare for an internationally-recognized examination such as TOEFL?

Yes, we offer preparation for the TOEFL, IELTS, BULATS and other exams. Our exam preparation classes include all materials and homework correction.

6. Do you teach children and teenagers?

Yes, our teachers are experienced in teaching young learners. We can create a course using our own materials designed specifically for this age group, or we can offer tutoring based on a school text book.

1. Do I need to keep the same schedule every week?

No, you are completely free to vary class days and times from week to week however you must advise your teacher 24 hours in advance of any changes.

2. Is there a minimum number of hours I have to buy?

No, we do not have a minimum number of hours. However, if you buy one of our packages, the cost of class per hour reduces.

3. How do I book my classes?

You can book your classes through our online booking system. After you trial class, you will be given a username and password which will allow you to access the system and select the hours and days you want classes. Please note that all class requests must be made 24 hours in advance of the time you want. If you have problems logging on to the system, or requesting classes, you can contact us at

6. How do I contact my teacher?

When you sign up for your free trial, you will receive the Skype contact name and e-mail address of your teacher. They will add you as a contact before your trial class and will call you at the start time of every class you schedule. Learn more about Skype.

1. Will I get a certificate?

Yes, we can scan and send you a certificate indicating your level. Certificates are only issued after 40 hours of class.

1. How fast should my internet connection be?

Ideally, your internet connection should be at least 100 kbps upload speed. (Upload is the speed at which you send information to the web). Any broadband connection in a Western country should easily exceed this. If you have a dial-up or ISDN connection, you can still take online classes with us, but these will include only voice and documents, not video.

2. What equipment do I need?

To hear your teacher, you need a headset (speakers are also possbile but they sometimes give an echo or interference). To talk to your teacher, you need a microphone (it can be part of your headset or not). A webcam allows your teacher to see you, but this is not strictly necessary. All teachers here have webcams, so unless there are technical issues on your end, you can always see your teacher.

3. Do I need a webcam?

No. A webcam is optional. If you have one, your teacher can see you. If you do not have one, the teacher cannot see you, but you may be able to see your teacher if you have a cable or DSL internet connection.
