spanish teacher España Villegas

España Villegas

Hola, my name is España Villegas. I have a Bachelors degree in Linguistics. I have experience using information and communication technologies in education after having participated in various courses of the Cervantes Institute. I’m actually creating classes with the Moodle Platform so my classes can be more interactive.

I have already helped prepare many students to pass the Spanish Diploma (DELE) as a foreign language for the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels so they can enter into the University. Spanish is the third most spoken and studied language worldwide after Mandarin and English but in the future it will probably be one of the most studied languages, that’s why I like to teach and research it a lot.

Maritza Griffiths

Hi, my name is Maritza Griffiths. You may be thinking I'm from England or the USA because of my last name, but, if so, you are wrong! I'm from Bolivia. I have a Bachelors Degree in Linguistics and have almost 15 years of experience teaching English in high schools and universities. I have 4 years of experience teaching my own language (Spanish), which I began to teach in a high school in the United States.
I've been working at i.e. teaching Spanish since 2006. I have had good experiences with foreign students who couldn't speak a single word in Spanish, and after 20 to 25 hours of clases with me, they were able to engage in real conversations in Spanish in the present, past and future tenses. I really love teaching languages, and I hope to see you soon!

spanish teacher Pamela Murillo

Pamela Murillo

Hi, my name is Pamela Murillo. I am from La Paz, Bolivia. I am a Linguistics student and, for that reason, I had the opportunity to live in the United States for almost three years. During that time I taught Spanish as an intercultural exchange, and I loved doing it. Now I'm here at i.e., doing what I love to do, teaching Spanish. In the classroom, I like to make the student feel comfortable and enjoy the class; I try to find easy, understandable and entertaining ways to make him/her learn, comprehend and communicate in the language. This has proven to be a beneficial method because both the student and the teacher learn a little bit about each other's culture in addition to the language. Let's learn together! Join me!

Hi, my name is Teresa. I have written for different magazines and newspapers and I also have experience teaching grammar, writing and spelling. I can help you learn Spanish or improve your existing skills in an easy and entertaining way. I usually begin my class by having a short conversation with the student. Then I introduce some grammar rules using the phrases and sentences that the student is able to form by himself, and finally, I focus on practicing through writing, listening or reading activities. I encourage my students to get involved from their very first class, and I really enjoy finding out about their personal interests and motivations. This way, I can focus the teaching process on subjects and situations that are interesting to them.

spanish teacher Wendy Flores

Wendy Flores

Hello, my name is Wendy and I am from La Paz - Bolivia. I am a linguist and I have been working as a teacher of languages during some years and I honestly can say that this is something I really love to do.

I had the opportunity to work with children, teenagers, young and adult people from my country and I have learned a lot from them. These experiences helped me to know how to be a good teacher and being conscious about my students’ needs, taking into account their capacities and the best ways in which they learn the language.

Now I have been fortunate to have this wonderful opportunity to work with foreign people as I always wanted to do. I noticed that I love the idea to teach my native language Spanish to others who really like it and appreciate it lime me. In the past, I had nice experiences working with foreigners and I realized that the process of teaching and learning languages goes beyond from what we expect because we can learn a lot about our cultures and customs and it is also a way to unify people and countries without paying attention to barriers and distances.
